Project Overview
The company recently created a dedicated team with the scope to reflect on the current organization and imagine how to best serve the market in tomorrow's organization. It is indeed fundamental to start asking the right questions, as for example what the needs of the supply chain are (internally and on the customers' and suppliers' side, both physical and virtual, and in terms of actions and persons doing the jobs), how can it become more and more sustainable, how can processes become more efficient/digitized. For this reason, Grolman has decided to hire/collaborate with an experienced PROJECT MANAGER (f/m/d) with strong analytical skills, a change enabler that can think out of the box, a problem solver with empathy, multicultural mindset and the capability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Collecting ideas from field experts / internal managers and employees.
- Analyzing physical and virtual processes in their current status.
- Identifying the current company's culture = kind of context, people's mindset.
- Assessing the current capabilities in terms of people's hard and soft skills.
- Plan the steps for transition versus the organization of tomorrow, specifying all involved topics and the most appropriate timing for each of them (short-, medium-, long term).
- Prepare a business blueprint document that describes the organization of tomorrow and captures the capabilities the organization wants to have at the end of the program deciding what systems and technology the organization needs to be successful.
- Organize and moderate workshops with the project team and field experts to work out topics together, bring in their expertise and to communicate the plan in the most effective way.
- Prepare a concept about the transition and organize and support training of the employees to be ready for transition.
- Reflect on which new technologies should be adopted.
- Identify gaps and find solutions in case of lack of specific skills.
- Monitoring and continuous improvement.
These actions are preparatory steps for a later ERP selection and roll out of a new ERP system for all Grolman companies. The ideal candidate has already managed transformation projects from a consultancy point of view. The person can be based in Europe with the availability to travel to Neuss, Germany on a regular / occasional basis. We are open to discuss the mode of employment (freelance consulting, employment on project base or any other) with you !
- Positive, project and vision orientated, open minded, cooperative and team oriented
- Curious and self-reflected person with a sociable and hands-on mentality able to take ownership of the projects and goals
- Proactive, entrepreneurial and independent self-starter
- Several years of experience in project management, program management, technical development, business development and equivalent roles in a structured and complex organizations
- Know how in CRM, ERP- and FICO systems and tools
- Successful track record in project management
- All round know how of global project management including technical, commercial, supply chain and day-to-day work organization
- Analytical and strategic mindset
- Effective team building and leading skills
- Proficient with modern information technology, especially MS office, Outlook and complex programs, and smart user of contemporary tools, devices, apps
- Very good negotiation & presentation techniques
- Very good English and possibly additional language skills
