Our focus is on bioassays, microbiology, virology and viral therapeutics.
Drive the future of global security at Boehringer Ingelheim, leading projects and initiatives that enhance our security strategy and resilience worldwide. As a subject matter expert, you'll define security requirements for our counterfeit program together with internal stakeholders and process owners and drive and support creation of policies and standards that protect our people and assets, while fostering a culture of innovation and agility in security. Based in our dynamic and collaborative environment, you'll deliver global security standards that truly add value to our business, influencing both internal and external stakeholders.
Depending on your experience and skills, this position can be filled either as Manager Global Security or as Senior Manager Global Security.
- You'll define counterfeit program design requirements and harmonize business processes globally, managing existing processes and applications as well as defining innovate solutions.
- As a subject matter expert, you'll strategically manage the protection of BI's people and assets, developing and implementing security policies and standards ensuring and strengthening future resilience.
- Drawing on your experience, you'll drive innovation and participate in digitalization projects, fostering an agile security culture.
- You'll deliver global security standards into the working processes of internal and external partners, adding true business value and acting as a business enabler.
- You'll act as a counterfeit security system topic lead, building a global network of security experts, and supporting Global Security Heads and Local Security Managers to ensure adherence to BI standards.
- In case of security incidents, you'll manage the situation, support crisis management, and prepare necessary cooperation between internal and external partners to ensure a minimum level of agreed preventive measures.
- You'll identify optimization potentials and develop proposals to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our counterfeit program, strategies and processes.
- In collaboration with the Security, Quality and Product teams, you'll define process standardization for end-to-end processes and systems, ensuring they are validated and compliant.
- You'll take on a leadership role in sharing best practices and fostering a community of security professionals, while aligning user requirements with stakeholders across the globe.
- Armed with a master's degree in a security-related field, you're adept at conflict management and uphold a strong ethical code
- Your comprehensive knowledge in protecting employees, assets, and business processes is coupled with resilience and intercultural competency
- Expertise in counterfeit program development and implementation ideally in the pharmaceutical industry
- Regulatory compliance, and system demand support is your strength, along with a knack for various security areas depending on your role
- Top-notch MS Office skills and exceptional negotiation abilities define you
- You're fluent in English preferably with basic German skills. Any additional languages are a bonus
- Profound expertise in counterfeit program development and implementation
- Experience with instructing and coaching colleagues and external staff
