This role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of chemistry, innovation, and practical application in a supportive and collaborative environment.
- Drive the development of electrically releasable adhesives with a focus on debonding-on-demand technologies.
- Expand and refine expertise in the electrochemical debonding mechanisms of pressure-sensitive adhesives.
- Conceptualize, evaluate, and implement innovative adhesive solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and external partners.
- Manage and execute new chemical debonding concepts at laboratory and pilot-plant scales.
- Lead feasibility studies and projects within interdisciplinary teams, contributing your scientific insight and technical expertise.
- Secure innovation through intellectual property (IP) protection.
- A degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering (Master's or PhD) with strong knowledge of polymer chemistry, ionic liquids, or organic synthesis.
- Initial experience with radical polymerization, debonding mechanisms, and pressure-sensitive adhesives is a plus.
- Proficiency in preparative laboratory techniques with a keen ability to evaluate and implement novel chemical concepts.
- Analytical, independent, and team-oriented working style with strong organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and networking abilities, confident in presenting findings internally and externally.
- Fluent in English is a must-have; German skills are advantageous.
