  • Relationship Management: You will build, develop, and maintain strong relationships with our Strategic Key Customers, while coordinating all sales activities across Rhenus.
  • Strategic Planning: You will create and implement strategic account plans to achieve long-term business goals and drive revenue growth.
  • Information Management: You will gather and analyze relevant information to ensure a comprehensive global overview of customer relationships, ensuring transparent and regular communication of all customer-related topics.
  • Collaboration and Coordination: You will work cross-functionally with Global Functions and Business Units to address global customer challenges and optimize customer service.
  • Negotiation and Contract Management: You will lead contract negotiations and manage the documentation of all activities related to your customers.
  • Sales Target Achievement: You will take responsibility for meeting annual sales targets and driving long-term success through sustainable strategic initiatives.


  • Professional Experience and Expertise: You possess advanced degrees and substantial experience as a sales manager in an international, preferably global, context. You bring a profound understanding of global logistics processes, particularly across the entire supply chain.
  • Leadership and Team Management: You have extensive experience in multi-level personnel management, with strong leadership skills to guide teams and foster collaboration.
  • Strategic and Relationship Skills: You excel in strategic thinking and relationship management, enabling you to build strong connections and develop impactful plans.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Your excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally make you a key player in coordinating efforts across diverse teams and functions.
  • Negotiation and Problem-Solving: You are a skilled negotiator with the ability to solve complex global challenges effectively and efficiently.
  • Global Mindset and Flexibility: With cultural competence, market knowledge in logistics, and fluency in written and spoken English, you are ready to work on a global scale and are willing to travel internationally.
