Cadex Electronics is a leading manufacturer of battery analyzers, chargers and rapid-testers. With ability to read battery capacity, these devices allow the full use of each battery and call for replacement before a failure. Larger batteries are serviced with Spectro™, a non-invasive technology using electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) with AI that Cadex under patent. Our focus is selling Spectro products.

Capacity estimation with Spectro enables Reliability-centered Maintenance (RCM) in batteries, a standard that was developed for the Boeing 747 aircraft and was adopted by nuclear, defense and railway industries. As batteries cause half of equipment failures, Cadex makes effort to strengthen this weak link.

The Universal Supervisor Charger (USC), a device that Cadex also manufactures. The USC displays performance data of a smart battery on a PC with option to store test results in the CadexCloud. This enables batch testing of incoming batteries, preparing Li-ion batteries for AirShip and doing calibration. The Validation Test further endorses a battery for field use, and the Endurance Loop automates field replacement as batteries fade. “

We are searching for a Sales and Business Development Leader to promote products servicing portable, mobility automotive and stationary batteries. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, selling to early adopters. Being an artist with vision is an asset in bringing products to market that buyers never knew was needed.


  • 1. Introducing new technologies while maintaining legacy products.
  • You are responsible for achieving sales and profit targets
  • 3. Attending conferences presenting our diagnostic technologies and accepting speech opportunities.
  • 4. Engaging in beta testing, organizing product launches, and running sales campaigns.
  • 5. Providing cross function between Sales and Engineering to facilitate development of products
  • 6. Leading Cadex Europe, our sales office Frankfurt with lab to expand into EMEA.
  • 7. Project management and support in cooperation with the HQ
  • 8. Technical advice and holistic support for customers and sales partners, from needs assessment to the development of customer-specific solutions and the preparation of offers

  • 1. You must have a strong understanding in introducing innovative products to early adopters.
  • 2. You must be able to demonstrate the advantages of new battery test technologies in the field.
  • 3. You must have leadership and visionary qualities to expand applications into new markets.
  • 4. You must have the ability to support co-development with partners to validate new systems.
  • 5. Completed training or studies in electrical engineering
  • 6. Experience in the field of battery technology is preferred
  • 7. Fluent written and spoken German and English is a prerequisite, other languages are an advantage
  • 8. Experience in creating business cases and market launch strategies
  • 9. Flexibility and willingness to travel
