  • Acquisition of new customers as well as commercial and technical advice and support for our existing customers (including traveling)
  • Market analysis and observation to identify new trends and developments
  • Commercial support for technical product demonstrations to win new projects
  • Development of solution-oriented coating systems in close cooperation with potential customers and our technical departments
  • Conduct of price and contract negotiations
  • Complaints management in close cooperation with the internal departments
  • Management of customer relationships and projects using a CRM system

  • Degree with a technical and/or commercial background (e.g., Industrial Engineering) or appropriate further training (e.g., paint technician with commercial experience)
  • Several years of professional experience in sales of products requiring explanation, ideally in the chemical industry
  • High technical affinity as well as solution-oriented and result-oriented representation of customer requirements
  • Above-average commitment as an “entrepreneur within the company”
  • Fluency in Flemish and Dutch, business fluency in German, good written and spoken English skills, ideally command of French
  • Proficiency in the common MS Office applications and CRM software
