With a fleet of 287 modern container ships and a Vessel Capacity 2.2 million TEU, as well as a Container Capacity 3.2 million TEU including one of the world's largest and most modern reefer container fleets, Hapag-Lloyd is one of the world's leading liner shipping companies. In the Terminal & Infrastructure segment, Hapag-Lloyd has stakes in 20 terminals in Europe, Latin America, the United States, India, and North Africa. The roughly 2.600 employees assigned to the Terminal & Infrastructure segment deal with terminal-related activities and provide complementary logistics services at selected locations.

Corporate Audit plays a critical role in evaluating risks and improving business processes across all units and holdings. We use advanced analytics and technology to perform in-depth audits, identify root causes of issues, and collaborate with management to deliver lasting solutions.

With teams in Hamburg, Dubai, and Singapore, we offer a global perspective and the opportunity to make a tangible impact. Our onboarding program and mentorship will equip you to grow from a data-focused role into a full-fledged auditor.

  • Leverage Data: Analyze operational, financial, and performance data to identify risks, trends, and opportunities.
  • Support Audits: Partner with auditors to design and execute data-driven audits, ensuring insights inform actionable outcomes.
  • Develop Dashboards: Create compelling visualizations to present findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Drive Innovation: Introduce advanced analytics and emerging technologies to enhance audit processes.
  • Consult with Leadership: Act as an internal consultant, providing senior management with actionable insights and recommendations for strategic decisions.
  • Learn and Grow: Transition into leading end-to-end audits, from evaluating controls to drafting reports and advising on solutions.

  • Education: A degree in Business, Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, or Data Science.
  • Experience: At least two years in data analysis, data engineering, or similar roles. Proficiency in SQL and tools like Python or R; familiarity with cloud systems is a plus.
  • Analytical Skills: The ability to uncover insights from complex datasets and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Communication: Strong ability to convey technical insights in clear, business-friendly terms.
  • Mindset: A growth-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn auditing concepts.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel internationally up to 30%.
