As our Marketing Automation Manager, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing user engagement and driving conversions across our B2C target group. Your responsibilities include:

  • Taking full ownership of our marketing automation tool (Braze) and managing communication channels, such as email, push notifications, and in-app messages.
  • Designing and optimizing personalized marketing workflows to improve user experience, retention and conversions to our premium subscription.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including other marketing specialists, the product team, and the head of growth, to optimize the entire marketing and sales funnel through targeted and retargeted campaigns.
  • Driving continuous improvement through advanced audience segmentation, journey mapping, A/B testing, and campaign delivery optimization.
  • Managing end-to-end processes for all marketing channels (currently email, in-app message, push notification, content cards) from development and deployment to reporting and insights generation.
  • Identifying opportunities to enhance the technical setup and exploring new tools to elevate our marketing automation efforts.
  • Leading and mentoring a Jr. Marketing Automation Manager, fostering growth and knowledge-sharing.

We're looking for a passionate marketing automation professional who thrives on data-driven strategies and innovative solutions. You should have:

  • Extensive experience in using and implementing marketing automation tools, with a proven track record in email marketing and multichannel communication.
  • Expertise in digital marketing channels, including web, email, push, and social media.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, measure performance, and optimize campaigns. Basic SQL and intermediate Excel would be nice to have.
  • In-depth knowledge of customer acquisition and retention strategies, as well as the latest market trends.
  • Technical skills: Basic knowledge of CSS and HTML, with the ability to make backend updates to email templates.
  • A self-driven, methodical, and goal-oriented mindset to manage priorities effectively.
  • Experience in content marketing and understanding its role in the user journey.
  • Fluency in English and German (both written and spoken).
