We offer our customers and dealers a premium service in leasing, financing and insurance products: competent, fast and flexible!

An international team of over 600 people located right at Berlin Alexanderplatz is waiting to meet you.

The French speaking owner of the position stewards self responsible under the business scope of the assigned retail customers. The aim is to minimize risks, failures and losses by considering and respecting all internal and external requirements.

Your tasks will be:

  • Execute after contract termination tasks and decide upon file treatment e.g. debt sale, bailiff or external lawyer treatment
  • Negotiate with qualified customers about potential settlements
  • Execute day-to-day insolvency handling in order to get the funded vehicles back as quickly as possible and to limit risk
  • for Mercedes-benz Financial Services
  • Handle our Litigation portfolio and give direction and follow-up on outsourced relations e.g. bailiffs and lawyers
  • Prepare write-off files for approval in the local market
  • Support credit analysts and give regular feedback to the credit department (incl. post mortem process)
  • Support projects relevant to collections

What you bring to the table:

  • Degree in French Law or equivalent
  • Experience in debt collection and litigation
  • Strong experience in negotiating with customers
  • Experience in a customer service environment
  • Proficient in French (native speaker level)
  • Proficient in English
  • Other languages are considered as a plus


Personal skills:

  • Have 'people skills' and a good understanding of how to deal with lawyers/customers/suppliers in France
  • Self reliant way of working
  • Ability to build good relations with our customer
  • Be structured and be able to work well within deadlines
