With Mercedes me connect, Mercedes-Benz Cars has initiated a cross-divisional program with the task of realising the global connectivity of Mercedes-Benz passenger cars and offering innovative digital services. Connect thus forms the basis for new ways of interacting with our customers and for new services based on the connected car. In our team, we analyize and visualize the corresponding usage and sales data of our digital services. We use the power of the cloud and rely on responsible data usage in our global collaboration with the Regions and with our RD & IT hubs. In doing so, we enable a number of crossfunctional activities, e.g. to develop the next-generation services in a customer-centric way, to define data-driven sales targets and to trigger corresponding sales measures.
We are looking for you to become a part of our team of motivated and highly skilled colleagues, for an internship in the area of Digital Service Business Analytics. You will get a behind-the-scenes look and at the same time further build your data analytics skills. Our team offers you broad support while leaving room for your own ideas and end-to-end responsibility for your projects.
You will be involved in these exciting activities:
- Working on business analytics topics for the sales of digital products, as part of the connected car program Mercedes me connect
- Use of cloud analytics tools: Databricks, Power BI, Microsoft Azure, GitHub
- Support for stakeholders in over 50 markets with direct exchange
- Demand-driven development of analytics and ensuring correctness of your results
- Creation of market, management and after-sales reports, among others
- Integration of key performance indicators for performance measurement
- Opportunity to independently and flexibly find and implement solutions to upcoming challenges
Ideally you bring the following:
- Degree in business informatics, business analytics, computer science, industrial engineering or a comparable degree program
- Basic knowledge of SQL, Python, Power BI and Microsoft Azure
- Initial experience in the areas of business analytics and big data is an advantage
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
- Fluent written and spoken English, German is an advantage
- Commitment and ability to work in a team
- Analytical and independent way of working
The internship should be for a duration of at least 4 months, ideally 6 months.
