Therefore, we are looking for a Trainee Customer, Performance & Organizational Development (f/m/d), preferably starting on 01/06/2025, to join our team at E.ON and shape the energy transition of Europe. What you can expect from us

The Commercial Programming team shapes the strategic program, drives the agenda of key business priorities and sets the frame for ways of working for E.ON's Customer Solutions Business (e.g. city energy solutions, large scale business solutions or energy markets). All activities aim to improve existing businesses or to develop new businesses - enabling growth, sustainability, and a greener future for our customers. Throughout this journey there is a constant focus on cultural evolution and people's development.

  • During the program, you'll have the chance to work in different functional placements mainly across Commercial Programming departments (e.g. Business Excellence, Programming & Performance, Customer Insights, Customer Experience, Marketing)

  • Besides you'll complete each at least one cross-functional and international placement

  • Moreover, we offer you the opportunity to gain global insights into E.ON's business with a focus on business systems, marketing and branding, our internal skill development program & performance management as well as customer experience and research across Europe (e.g. UK, Netherlands, Sweden)


What we expect from you

  • You have an above average Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Digital Business & Innovation or energy industry related studies with at least 2 years of relevant working experience​ or a respective Master's degree

  • Enthusiasm for implementing and steering initiatives that drive the energy transition characterizes you

  • You are fluent in English and willing to learn German

  • Ideally you have gained international experience staying abroad in the form of exchange semesters, internships, or volunteer work

  • Your initial relevant skills or knowledge in project management, data analytics or stakeholder management would be ideal

  • You can contribute with your organizational and communication skills to act as an ambassador of energy transition and drive events and communications via different channels (e.g. Podcasts, LinkedIn posts)

  • A solution- and customer-oriented mindset, hands-on mentality and a high level of personal commitment are what we are looking for to develop even further with you

An already existing residence and work permit for Germany are not necessarily required.
