SENIOR ADVISOR SUSTAINABLE PRACTICES (HQ) (F/M/D)

We are seeking a Senior Advisor Sustainable Practices (HQ) to develop and implement a project-based framework for impact materiality assessment and sustainability data collection, reporting directly to the Head of Advisory Unit, Organisational Development. This role will establish milestone-driven systems to track sustainability goals and will document key outcomes, data gaps, and best practices in a comprehensive final report to inform future sustainability efforts and enable smooth project transition.
- Develop and establish the framework for an impact materiality assessment ensuring a thorough data collection system. Create a project-based structure with defined milestones to carry out the analysis.
- Engage relevant stakeholders on impact materiality analysis and sustainability practices, ensuring regular exchanges with the movement's EU sections to coordinate on the planning of internal regular sustainability reports.
- Develop and implement tracking systems for MSF-Germany project-specific sustainability goals, establishing frameworks and mechanisms to monitor activities and milestones within the project's scope.
- Document results in a comprehensive final report that summarises key outcomes, data gaps, and recommendations to inform future initiatives. Capture best practices, insights, and lessons learned to support an effective transition, and enable continuity beyond the project's completion.
- Master's degree in Sustainability Management, Environmental Management, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent experience may also be considered.
- Relevant professional experience in sustainability, environmental management, or related fields, preferably within an NGO or non-profit environment.
- Strong understanding of sustainability frameworks, standards, and regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse data and develop actionable solutions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with reporting tools and software.
- Excellent communication skills, orally and in writing in English (C1), knowledge of German desirable.

- Payment according to a transparent internal salary structure; in this position according to group 5 with full-time employment (40h/week) from 4.256 Euro to a maximum of 5.385 Euro, depending on the relevant professional experience
