To complete our IT Application Development team, we are looking for an:

Digital & IT Lead - Information Systems (w/m/d)

Ideally, this position is based in Hilden but other German location will also be considered.


  • Support IT EMEA portfolio, projects effectively to deliver on global and regional IT EMEA objectives, aligned with Global Businesses´ priorities and Global IT Roadmap
  • Ensure EMEA´s systems efficiency and performance to support Operations and Functions, supporting Businesses´ strategic development across region, in tight collaboration with Global IT
  • Propose and anticipate systems improvements, upgrades, transitions and structure processes to secure a seamless roll-out
  • Coordinate execution of EMEA´s IT roadmap in close collaboration with IT Infrastructure EMEA team members, ensuring engagement and alignment at all time
  • Identify, coordinate and deploy IT AM initiatives globally, in close collaboration and partnership with Global IT Leaders and regional heads of IT, ensuring alignment and inclusion at all time.
  • Ensure adequate IT documentation is in place to support business continuity and training efforts across the organization, as well as enable a complete back-ups availability
  • Support SOX efforts and further integration activities
  • Strong Project Management skills utilizing Agile Methodologies
  • Experience working in projects where multiple functions work in a matrix structure
  • Experience working in a global Mfg. organization with complex business processes.


  • Master´s Degree in computer science of technical discipline with extended work experience in IT
  • MBA´s a plus
  • Min. 8 years' experience managing an IT or similar level operation
  • Experience in a global, multi-site and matrix environment
  • Experienced with SOX environment
  • Experienced in Finance and Tax environments
  • In-depth understanding of Business Models, functions and processes, as well as laws and regulations applying to the IT function
  • Hands-on attitude, focused on results

  • Strong leadership and influential skills, able to navigate across culture, promoting diversity and inclusion
  • Excellent communication and collaboration acumen
