The Generali Operations Service Platform (GOSP) supports the Generali Group in optimizing its digital services, its service quality and the creation of synergies. GOSP uses common technology platforms for the Group. As a joint venture partner, Accenture provides expertise to support transformation, innovation and scaling. GOSP develops solutions for digitalization and the introduction of a cloud-centric model. GOSP includes IT infrastructure, procurement, and security operations, among others.


The unit Mainframe Outsourcing Management is responsible for the whole management of the mainframe services as well as for supply mainframe consultancy services within the Generali group. The technical services are sourced out so the supplier management is a core task in delivering the mainframe services.

As a Technical Service Consultant (m/f/d) in Mainframe Outsourcing Management, you are responsible for all Mainframe business, supporting internal units concerning Mainframe topics, supporting and controlling the Mainframe service provider and much more.

  • You support the GOSP customers in their daily Mainframe business and Mainframe projects
  • You control and manage the services delivered by the service provider company
  • You consult and support the GOSP customers in monitoring, analyzing and optimizing their Mainframe services together with the service provider
  • You support the GOSP management related to any Mainframe topics
  • You support the risk security, auditing and certification processes within GOSP related to Mainframe items (like ISAE-and ISO-audits) together with the service provider

  • You have successfully completed an IT degree course and have long-term work experience
  • You display a convincing confidence as well as strong communication and presentation skills
  • You have a high level of engagement
  • You have a deep understanding of services and are extremely customer-oriented
  • You are soulution-oriented and are characterized by willingness to cooperate, capacity for teamwork and conflict ability
  • You have knowledge of IT Service Management frameworks (e.g. ITIL)
  • You have deep knowledge of the Mainframe technology (computing, Storage, Automation and MW / DB), z/OS and subsystems
  • You think and act like an entrepreneur
  • You preferably have very good knowledge about the Generali Mainframe environment
  • You are fluent in written and spoken German and English
