Job Title: International Corporate Tax Manager
Location(s): Berlin – Hybrid Working Model
About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and dedicated International Corporate Tax Manager (m/f/d) to join our corporate tax department in Berlin. As part of our tax team, you will be responsible for the entire range of income tax issues for dedicated group companies.

- Responsibility for various Group companies in the area of income taxes. Together with our external tax advisors, you will take care of compliance and general income tax issues, including in particular
- Support in the preparation and review of tax returns
- Minimizing tax risks and clarifying various tax issues from internal and external stakeholders
- Ensuring that tax prepayments are made on time and adjusting (reducing/increasing) prepayment assessments as required
- Monitoring and preparing the relevant calculations/analyses/reporting (e. g. CFC regulations, interest deduction restrictions, etc.)
- Determination & review of tax items including deferred taxes in accordance with IFRS as part of the annual and consolidated financial statements
- Support with tax audits and annual meetings with foreign tax authorities
- Processing of questions/preparation of guidelines regarding the establishment of foreign permanent establishments
- Preparation of residence certificates, tax certificates and clarification of questions regarding withholding taxes (e. g. regarding dividends, interest, royalties)
- Collaboration on multidisciplinary projects, e. g. financing, reorganizations, M&A, post-merger integration, transfer pricing
- Support in digitalization projects/implementation of tax technology to make tax-related processes more efficient, identification of potential for automation
- Collaboration and exchange with external (tax authorities and external consultants) and internal stakeholders (accounting, finance, controlling, legal)
- You have successfully completed a degree in business/law with a focus on tax or a comparable degree
- A successfully passed tax consultant exam would be a plus
- At least 4 years of relevant professional experience in a tax consulting firm or in a corporate environment
- Basic knowledge of international tax law
- You work independently, are well organized and enjoy dealing with conceptual issues. You value precise and conscientious work, but do not lose sight of the big picture
- You enjoy working with numbers and analytical thinking
- You are familiar with the usual software applications
- You are a proactive and motivated team player
- Fluent in German and English
