As a dedicated, independent cruise management company, NCM offers comprehensive services covering all aspects of the cruise industry, with a strong emphasis on both expedition- and classic cruises. In collaboration with its partners, NCM delivers comprehensive management services encompassing crew management, technical management, hotel management and port operations.

SENIOR FINANCAL CONTROLLER (M/W/D)
for a start-up in the cruise and tourism industry

- You will be responsible for the design and creation of cross-departmental and cross-company reports and carry out, for example, variance analyses and ad hoc reports
- You will be responsible for the cash flow planning of shipping companies and thus always have an eye on the liquidity situation
- You will support the implementation of KPIs, and you will also play a leading role in the further development of our processes and our OLAP-based tool for planning, analysis, reporting and BI
- Support in the preparation of the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, in cooperation with the specialist department
- Develop and manage financial forecasts and budgets.
- Assess and mitigate financial risks, including currency fluctuations, credit risk, and operational risks.
- You will be involved in the further development of our processes and our OLAP-based tool for planning, analysis, reporting, Power BI and Jeddox
- You act as a competent contact person for management, department heads and banks
- A successfully completed commercial degree with a focus on finance/controlling or a comparable qualification
- You already have several years of professional experience in controlling
- You enjoy working with numbers, and you are interested in technical procedures, IT systems and processes
- The professional handling of Microsoft Office/Navision/Power BI/Jeddox or comparable software solutions is a matter of course for you
- You have strong analytical skills and a structured and forward-looking way of working
- You have a high level of commitment, the ability to work in a team, initiative and assertiveness
- Very good written and spoken English skills and ideally industry experience in the shipping industry rounds off your profile
- Working in Hamburg's old town with good public transport connections
