Bosch Building Technologies is divided into the international product business and the regional system integration business. Currently, the three product areas of video systems, access control & intrusion detection systems and communication systems as well as the associated cross-divisional functions within the division are to be set up as an independent unit and then further developed as a sustainable core business by a new owner.

  • International and interdisciplinary cooperation: As IT Product Owner & Group Lead for Order Fulfillment Management (w./m./div.), you will be part of the new company to be set up in the future and thus contribute to a globally networked team of around 4300 colleagues operating in over 50 countries.

  • Take responsibility: You are responsible to build and lead a self-organized, agile scrum team of Inhouse Consultants for Order Fulfillment Management in a scaled agile environment, both technically and disciplinarily. In cooperation with the agile master, you drive and coach the team to continuously improve performance and cooperation within the team and with other teams of the scaled agile environment. You ensure that the team have the right competences and resources available in alignment with the upcoming product roadmap and you drive performance management and career development processes for all individuals of the team. You manage and prioritize the team backlog with a view to the program and product priorities and considering all stakeholders.
  • Networked communication: The analysis and optimization of processes in cooperation with the respective business departments are part of your tasks.
  • Think holistically: You collaborate closely with other process areas to ensure consistent and integrated process and IT solutions. Additionally, you maintain relationships with business partners, identify their needs, refine and prioritize their requirements, and integrate these into the team's delivery roadmap. Together with other Product Owners and roles within the scaled agile environment, you promote continuous improvement in collaboration, advance the role of the Product Owner, and optimize product management processes. Furthermore, you manage risks at both the team and program levels and coordinate dependencies with other teams and roles in the agile environment.

  • Education: degree in Business Administration, Information Management, Business Engineering or equivalent. Alternatively, a relevant apprenticeship as well as extensive specialist skills and qualified trainings or a comparable qualification.
  • Experience and Knowledge: many years of experience in functional configuration, design, and implementation of IT solutions in SAP SD and related non-sap shipping and export systems. Experience in working within a scaled agile environment (SAFe or similar) in an IT-related department in a Product Owner or similar role. Proficiency in leading a team of software engineers and similar roles. Experience in integrating a modern servant leader mindset with the demands of traditional line management and a more traditional organization structure and hierarchy. Deep understanding of agile principles and methodology; and what their guardrails are within a mid-size company IT department. Experience in managing a group of stakeholders.
  • Personality and Working Practice: excellent communication skills and a confident behavior. In addition, structured and goal-oriented working style as well as strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills. Along with, cooperative, positive, entrepreneurial, agile, and future oriented mindset.
  • Willingness to travel: up to 30%
  • Languages: fluent written and spoken English language skills, German skills are beneficial.
