- Ensuring the smooth operation of the global internal IT infrastructure
- Ensuring high-performance connectivity of the global branches to enable smooth operations
- Technical organization, provision, implementation and updating of the internal IT infrastructure
- Monitoring and maintenance of the IT infrastructure
- Ensuring the backup concept and monitoring the quality and status of backups
- Ensuring data security / data protection (firewall, switching, monitoring and cloud security)
- Training employees in the use of the infrastructure provided
- Active threat monitoring of IT infrastructure and network
- Reporting of security incidents
- Supporting the definition of IT infrastructure and network standards
- Close cooperation and training of the Build & Run Service departments
- Collaboration with service providers
- Collaboration with suppliers
- Degree in computer science, electrical/communications engineering or completed training as an IT specialist (m/f/d) for system integration or equivalent training
- Several years of professional experience in comparable tasks, especially in troubleshooting and administration in the areas of firewall, switching, monitoring and cloud security
- Knowledge and experience in the creation and implementation of emergency concepts and backup scenarios
- Good knowledge and experience in the administration of firewall systems
- Organizational talent
- Fluent English language skills, knowledge of German language an advantage
- Knowledge of common information security management frameworks, such as ISO/IEC 27001, or NIST
- Experience with cloud computing / elastic computing in virtualized environments
- Knowledge of IT technology, IT security and data protection
- Very good knowledge of virtualization as well as backup and recovery
- Good knowledge of networking
- Ideally certification as PCNSA or comparable certification
