At our entity Aachen, we are looking for you as a
Design Engineer Software Linux BSP (m/f/d), fulltime, permanent
- Developing hardware-related software for ARM, ARM64, and STM32
- Debugging, testing, and troubleshooting of bootloader and operating system
- Developing and maintaining tools for verification and mass production tests
- Place in operation and debugging of prototypes of new products.
- Creating project documentation
- Maintaining software and technical support during the whole product life cycle
- You have a bachelor's or master's degree electrical engineering, computer science, communications engineering, or a comparable field.
- You have programming skills in C, C++, ideally also in Shell and Python scripts.
- Experience in programming ARM-based SoCs (NXP i.mx, TI, Renesas)
- Experience in modifying u-boot and Linux kernel sources.
- Advanced experience with the Yocto build environment.
- A team-oriented and independent working style
- Good practical English and German skills, both written and spoken
