Are you looking for a new professional challenge in an industry with secure future prospects and high social relevance? We are looking for a Software Developer (m/f/d) for API and Hardware Integration to support our development team in Heidelberg as soon as possible.
- Connection of frontend and backend via existing APIs: Integration of the Qt-based frontend with the C++ backend using existing API
- Creation and adaptation of APIs: Development of own APIs for the integration of external hardware and software components as well as optimization of existing API interfaces
- Integration of hardware components: Integration of various hardware components via different interfaces and their integration into the existing system architecture
- Modularization and expansion of the software architecture: Collaboration on the development of a modular and scalable architecture that facilitates the integration of external SDKs and APIs
- Integration of 3rd party SDKs: Integration and adaptation of external software development kits into the existing software infrastructure
- Sound knowledge of C++ (essential) and C# (desirable)
- Extensive experience with the connection and integration of external SDKs, as well as the creation of own SDKs
- Extensive experience in working with REST APIs and knowledge of various interfaces and their protocols
- Experience in dealing with QT and databases/database communication (HTTP requests) would be desirable
- Sound experience in working with Git is a prerequisite
- Fluent in written and spoken English; knowledge of German is an advantage
