Booster Precision Components is an international automotive supplier group, headquartered in Northern Germany. The company is focusing on precision parts, supplying all major turbo system suppliers worldwide and successfully developing business in new and emerging areas like e-mobility & fuel cell, as well as outside of the automotive industry. Our core technologies are precision CNC machining and assembly operations.

Production sites are located in Germany, Slovakia, Mexico and China and offer a global presence in the automotive supply industry.

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Group Engineering Director. The position will report directly to our CEO and is based in our German plant in Schwanewede near Bremen.


  • Capacity, Capex and investment planning based on the sales budget for all Booster plants.
  • Lead all engineering teams in close cooperation with the plant managing directors
    • Weekly engineering meetings for all locations
    • Weekly calls with each plant for review of the engineering open point lists
    • Review of industrialization and serial process development tasks
    • Review of project status and identify/ push to be on time and in quality
    • Identify and develop new processes, process flows or technical solutions for the current and new business
  • Ongoing control and supervision of global project management activities (RFQ Phase till SOP).
  • Supervision of continuous improvements in all facilities (pushing of timelines and targets)
  • Responsible for BOM and routings for SAP, consilidation of work processes and key figures in all facilities, prove change requests and ensure that the system is up to date
  • Globalization of engineering procedures, consolidation of structure and pushing the global communication to reach the milestones/goals
  • Support the customer communication and be part of regular project meetings
  • Support and further develop the strategic company goals and milestones as well strategic workshops for Business Development
  • Close communication channel to the GEC (Management board) in terms of strategic decisions,part of the weekly calls of each plant to support all engineering activities
  • Regular meetings with all PMD´s and all departments to identify bottlenecks and optimizations and to prepare solutions for increasing efficiency
  • Interview possible candidates including suitability decision for Booster

  • Successfully completed technical studies, ideally with a focus on engineering
  • At least 4 years of professional experience in the operational engineering department of a manufacturing company
  • Experience with project work and technical understanding are of an advantage
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel
  • Very good knowledge of German as well as good written and spoken English
  • High level of social competence, ability to work in a team and solid communication skills, paired with a diligent and independent way of working
  • Strong initiative and high expectations regarding the quality of own work results
  • Willingness to travel
