As Manager / Executive Assistant to the Head of HR of the ZEISS segment Consumer Markets you will be responsible for a challenging range of duties requiring independent thinking and action at Board-level, work closely with the Head of HR and support her in strategic and operational issues as part of our focused strategy.

In addition, you will:

  • Compile analyses and develop concepts for key areas of business development

  • Manage and implement projects (e.g., GPTW Employee survey, Global HQ Target model )

  • Build a strong global HR VIS network

  • Prepare strategic decisions and Management Board proposals

  • Prepare strategy updates, speeches, and company presentations

  • Support other areas with the preparation and follow-up of key meetings

  • Manage key internal and external stakeholders, such as partners, customers, and suppliers

  • Bring in new ideas to further develop the effectiveness of the entire program, e.g., by implementing agile methodologies, capability building etc.

  • Build a strong global network across ZEISS Group and set the foundation for a potentially outstanding career path


  • A degree with excellent grades from a leading university

  • At least 3 years professional experience at one of the leading management consultancies

  • Proven success in lateral leadership and responsibility for complex projects

  • Outstanding analytical competence, strategic and outside-the-box thinking

  • Enjoy working in an agile way in networked, diverse, and geographically spread teams, with strong communication skills

  • “Can do” attitude, focused on getting things done

  • Passion for People and Organisation development

  • Fluent English skills, German is a plus
