As a (Senior) ESG Specialist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing and supporting Nordex's ESG initiatives. You will work closely with our existing team to coordinate the preparation of our annual Sustainability Statement and EU taxonomy reporting and develop an internal control system for non-financial data. Additionally, you will lead and contribute to various strategic sustainability projects, including the development of a new sustainability strategy for Nordex. This position is part of the global sustainability team based at our headquarters in Hamburg.

  • Collaborate with the current ESG reporting team to coordinate and oversee the preparation process for the annual Sustainability Statement and EU taxonomy reporting, including auditing
  • Develop and implement an internal control system for non-financial data to prepare for auditing with reasonable assurance
  • Monitor developments in the regulatory landscape for ESG topics, assess implications for Nordex, and develop measures for ensuring compliance
  • Lead and contribute to strategic sustainability projects, including the development of a new sustainability strategy for Nordex


  • Relevant degree in Sustainability Management, Business Administration with a focus on sustainability, or a related field
  • Extensive experience in ESG reporting and sustainability management
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements for ESG reporting, particularly CSRD
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities
  • Proficiency in German and English is a must; Spanish is an asset
