- Provide strategic advice on IP issues and enhance patent portfolio
- Identify new inventions and manage prosecution of EP patent applications
- Assist with IP due diligence activities and assessment of litigation risks
- Provide IP litigation support
- Review and draft agreements for IP transactions, R&D projects and commercial contracts with IP terms
- Provide training to members of LG Energy Solution and its affiliates in Europe
- Work closely with other in-house members and outside attorneys to accomplish assigned tasks and goals
- University degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Material Science, Industrial Engineering or comparable qualification (knowledge in battery technology a plus)
- Admission as European and/or German Patent Attorney
- 2 to 6 years of law firm and/or in-house experience
- Ability to present complex technical and legal issues in an understandable and convincing manner in German and English
- Korean language skills would be an advantage, but are not required
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally
