Magazino is a tech and robotics startup based in Munich, Germany. Our team of hardware and software engineers is leading in robot programming and development. Our robots work alongside humans – autonomously, safely and at a level of complexity that no one before us has ever achieved. With over 100 employees, we are the largest Advanced Robotics team in Europe.
We are looking for a Senior Robotics Software Engineer (f/m/x) C++ in a permanent and full-time position in our office in Munich.
- You work on our unified hardware abstraction layer for several types of complex robots
- You improve our distributed controller architecture for synchronized movements of the robots
- For our low-level software, you build a highly automated testing framework
- You enhance the error handling of hardware issues, e.g. through automatic recoveries
- You build logging and analysis tools for debugging issues with robots in the field
- You hold a bachelor's or master's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Engineering or similar field
- You have several years of experience in software development, preferably in the robotics industry
- You convince with your strong C++ and your solid Python programming skills
- You are interested in testing complex software systems
- Ideally, you also have experience with
- Control loops and kinematics
- ROS1 / ROS2
- CANopen
- Embedded C++ development
- Hardware-in-the-loop testing
- You are fluent in English
