In order to strengthen our Finance & Actuarial team, located in Ismaning, we are looking for you as a self-driven individual at our offices in Ismaning, Germany for the role of Junior Actuary Non-Life (m/w/d).


  • Support the valuation of claims provisions under local GAAP, IFRS, and Solvency II in close collaboration with the branches
  • Assist the Senior Actuary, Branches, and Chief Actuary in providing actuarial advice and pricing insights to th e CFO, Board, and Branches
  • Advise on Solvency II topics across the organization, support Risk Management, ORSA, and planning/FP&A
  • Contribute to reinsurance, pricing, and underwriting topics

  • University degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics or related field with strong quantitative focus
  • Started training as an actuary ideally completed qualification (by an actuarial body recognised in the EU)
  • From 1 year of experience in actuarial reserving (ideally motor), data-oriented tasks, regulatory reporting under Solvency II or similar
  • Competent MS Excel user, strong skills to work with databases (SQL, Access) and programming and First experience with actuarial software (preferably ResQ)
  • Fluent in spoken and written English and ideally German, and the ability to move confidently in an international environment
