For our European Sales Team, we are looking for an

Business Development Manager Semiconductor Failure Analysis Products (f/m/d)

The role will be placed at one of the Hamamatsu subsidiaries (Munich, Paris, Milano or London)


  • Overall responsible for the European sales and marketing of FA-products
  • Coordinating and monitoring all activities with the mother company and local sales, application and technical support
  • Developing and maintaining application and technology knowledge (domain knowledge) in the field of Failure Analysis
  • Defining, implementing and maintaining a European sales and marketing strategy in alignment with the mother company
  • Planning and supporting market communication strategies and actions jointly with the market communication team
  • Supporting local sales with technical and sales expertise on ongoing sales projects
  • Identifiyng upcoming new customer requirements and discusses proposals with the mother company
  • Responsible for the European sales planning (forecast)
  • Travelling in Europe and Japan plus in some cases also to other countries outside Europe

  • University degree in the field of electrical engineering or comparable education with experience in semiconductor industry
  • Experience in the handling of marketing and sales
  • Sector experience in Semiconductor Failure analysis, applied electronics, Optoelectronics, Semiconductor Lasers are of advantage
  • Strong skills in relationship management
  • Strategic thinking towards product marketing and account management
  • Very good working knowledge in English.
