YOUR TASKS

The duties of the Safety Support Supervisor are to coordinate and create content to promote safety topics within the company. Other tasks include:

  • Creating and editing reports, publications and other documents into English (e.g. investigation reports, employee magazines, security warnings),
  • Support for media projects (with support from the internal communications department and agencies for logo and video creation),
  • Supporting the maintenance of the DHL Aviation Global Crisis Control Center and the company's emergency plan as well as training the members of the DHL Aviation Global Crisis Control Center (including organizing and conducting emergency exercises),
  • Administrative support for people with mental health problems as part of our EAT support program,
  • Ensuring quality and standardization between operational safety departments, Organization of events and campaigns to promote security issues in the company,
  • Coordination and further development of safety training,
  • Supporting the maintenance of DHL Aviation's global crisis management center and the company's emergency plan,
  • Maintain emergency equipment, alcohol, drug and medication testing equipment, facilities, documentation and reporting system F24.

WHAT YOU BRING
  • University degree or similar equivalent professional experience preferred,
  • Practical experience in the area of ​​marketing/communications is desirable or creative and aesthetic solution finding for design and layout,
  • Strong interest in operational aviation areas (e.g. maintenance, flight operations or ground operations),
  • High degree of personal responsibility, service, safety and quality orientation,
  • Very structured, organized, reliable and autonomous way of working,
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and German,
  • Trustworthy, sensitive and committed to confidentiality,
  • Very good knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications (especially MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel),
