Then our international graduate program “Inspire – Your Journey of Growth” is just right for you. We are looking for ambitious graduates and early professionals who are open and willing to take on new perspectives.
Develop your individual Journey of Growth:
- Within 12 months, you complete various project assignments at home and abroad which are tailored to your personal profile and ambition for the future

As a Trainee in "Data Engineering Integrated Planning", you will delve deep into the world of networked logistics at Mercedes-Benz. You harmonize global demands and capacities, leveraging digital technologies to refine production and transportation workflows. Your efforts enhance the transparency and efficiency of our global production and transport network. Through your dedication to digitalization and automation, you control the planning and monitoring of material, vehicle and empties flows. You proactively identify optimization potential and drive cost-effectiveness. You collaborate with a forward-thinking team that develops innovative solutions to master the challenges of a dynamic market environment and make our logistics processes future-proof.
Qualifications:
- An above-average degree (bachelor, master, MBA or doctorate) in Mathematics, Data Science, Data Engineering, Business Informatics, Business Analytics or comparable course of study
- Maximum of 3 years of professional experience (apart from studies)
- At least 3 months of experience abroad (study, international internship, work and travel)
- Experience in setting up data lake architectures and creating ETLs
- Development skills with relevant programming languages (e.g. Python, PySpark)
- Excellent knowledge of English, good German language skills are an advantage
- Affinity and enthusiasm for data & digital technologies - use the possibilities of the latest technologies in the cloud
- Good understanding of business processes and a keen interest in data architectures and modern data driven analytics solutions
- Social commitment is preferred
- You are ready to drive the transformation forward at Mercedes-Benz and take responsibility
- You are open and communicative and have very good analytical skills
- You are a team player and can motivate others
