As a Trainee in “Operations Engineering” at Mercedes-Benz, you will play a key role in production planning and implementation. You will prepare the production of new vehicle types, ensuring productivity, efficiency, flexibility, and sustainability at our global manufacturing sites. Your focus will be on planning for press parts, body construction including the associated technologies or surface planning up to coating technology. You will be responsible for the planning of these trades throughout the entire lifecycle, from initial concept to planning new types and on to series maturity. In close collaboration with the development teams, you will ensure that innovative designs are translated into feasible production processes. Your expertise will enable you to ensure the quality of our pressed body parts from prototype to series production. Qualifications:
- An above-average degree (bachelor, master, MBA or doctorate) in mechanical engineering, production engineering, forming technology, industrial engineering with focus in project management or comparable course of study
- Maximum of 3 years of professional experience (apart from studies)
- At least 3 months of experience abroad (study, international internship, work and travel)
- Affinity and enthusiasm for digital technologies and trends
- Social commitment is preferred
- Excellent knowledge of English; good German language skills are an advantage
- You are ready to drive the transformation forward at Mercedes-Benz and take responsibility
- You are open and communicative and have very good analytical skills
- You are a team player and can motivate others
