SCM Specialist (m/f/d) Automotive
The position holder performs administrative tasks to ensure the timely and quantitative logistic flow from and to internal production sites, warehouses and customer production sites.
- Monitoring and management of inventory and ensuring its accuracy (System Reconciliation)
- Close collaboration with 3PL in regards to warehouse operations (both physical and virtual)
- Preparation of various reports and forecasts on demand
- Coordinate the shipping of products from point of origin to destination. Includes extensive collaboration with relevant third parties
- Identify proactively issues pertaining to logistics, transportation and warehouse operations
- Maintaining system data (i.e. model master, long-term inventory, inbound/ outbound history)
- Managing return stocks, obsolete or critical component supply situations incl. proper risk assessment and corrective actions
- Container management (inbound and outbound monitoring, claim management)
- Supporting EDI/ASN development projects, collaboration with IT for system optimization
- Managing claims in respect to customer logistics requirements
- Ensuring close cooperation and communication with internal stakeholders (i.e. production sites, headquarter in Korea, SCM, Sales etc.) to fulfil customer requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in SCM, or Logistics or similar education in relevant field
- Experience in similar position is required
- Experience with large Big Data files
- Experience preparing and tracking orders
- Excellent organizational skills and problem-solving abilities
- Experience in corporate automotive industry would be a plus
- Very accurate working approach, good time management, result orientation, proactive, good team player
- Very good knowledge in Excel
- Fluent in English and German
