About the Entry-level Programme:

The Deutsche Bank Entry-level Programme is a comprehensive programme designed to provide you with exposure to a range of fascinating projects and ongoing professional and technical training to develop the skills you need to grow your career. About the division:

Our Corporate Finance: Mergers and Acquisitions / Equity Capital Markets (M&A/ECM) business provides the full range of advisory and financing products, and services of a leading global investment bank. Our clients include large- and mid-cap corporates, financial institutions, governments and government agencies as well as financial investors.

We recognise that selecting the ideal partner in investment banking can be the key to a company's success. Our clients benefit from the sector, country and regional expertise of our bankers that specialize in providing highest-quality client solutions. We offer both buy-side and sell-side advise in mergers and acquisitions, advise on restructurings, offer solutions in debt and equity capital markets (including our dedicated ESG solutions) as well as structured equity transactions. We advise clients on innovative cross-border and regional transactions in Germany and Europe, the US and Asia Pacific.

Start: July 2025


As an analyst, you will work on projects that help our clients reach their strategic goals. Your day-to-day tasks will vary depending on your role: you might be modelling and client's financial KPIs and forecasts, valuing companies, preparing marketing materials for a client pitch, monitoring capital markets and interpreting relevant data for our clients and you will be regularly and directly involved in the execution of live M&A and ECM deals. Your learning curve will be steep as you are involved in live deals and interact with clients. You will enjoy plenty of support from seniors and mentors, as in an international environment. You will learn from the best, evolve professionally as well as personally, and build a firm foundation for further specialization at a later stage of your career.


We look for high potential candidates who:

  • are resilient and ambitious
  • have strong quantitative reasoning and problem-solving skills
  • are enthusiastic to learn about financial markets and products
  • have excellent academic results
  • speak fluent English and ideally speak German

To be eligible for the Programme you must:

  • Complete your studies (all final exams, coursework and have no outstanding requirements for graduation) between 1st January 2024 and 31st July 2025
  • Be able to start full time work in July 2025, subject to local working legislation and visa requirements
