The Procurement Manager f/m/d for Home and Distribution is part of a product development project team and works closely with the different members within the Offer Creation Process (OCP) and/or the Brand Labeling Management Process (BLMP). This role is key to the coordination of purchasing activities between Global Supply Chain and the business units with a focus on growth and meeting technical challenges through innovation.

Your IMPACT

  • Select suppliers aligned with global/regional commodity and supplier strategy
  • Utilize purchasing principles for supplier selection, considering Total Cost of Ownership, innovation, standardization, and supply chain flexibility
  • Analyze, challenge, and contribute to Offer Creation Process/Brand Labeling Management Process project targets
  • Actor within the product development project team and work closely with the different members within the Offer Creation Process (OCP) and/or the Brand Labeling Management Process (BLMP)
  • Monitor supplier performance and negotiate purchasing terms and conditions
  • Drive co-development and early supplier involvement in projects, integrating supplier market knowledge and innovation
  • Manage and develop existing suppliers based on various criteria across multiple global R&D centers (France, India, Germany, China and Italy)

Your profile

As a highly experienced purchasing/procurement professional f/m/d you will demonstrate extensive experience within a multinational corporation including but not limited to:

  • Technical Master's degree (preferred in Electronics) or equivalent
  • Extensive experience in project purchasing within a manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated leadership in supplier development and management
  • Expertise in electronic components and EMS management
  • Proven strategic thinking and sourcing strategy building skills
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills
  • Speaking English is mandatory, German would be a plus
