As (Senior) Global Product Manager (m/w/d)* at St. Gallen/Switzerland you will join the global product management team for one of the most promising businesses in pharma packaging, our SCHOTT Polymer Syringes portfolio which will be your focus product group. You manage the assigned product portfolio as well as cross-functional and multi-level relationships between global customers, partners and the BU Pharma matrix organization. In this position you will travel up to 40%.
Your Contribution

You define and implement global product strategies incl. strategic partnerships, new applications and business models in accordance with the corporate strategy and take an active role in its execution

You develop and continuously improve a long-term innovation/product roadmap and provide input for the resulting long-term technology and IP roadmap

You develop long-term product and business plans and actively drive its implementation in close alignment with the R&D and technology team

You team up with the marketing team to develop and execute market launch plans incl. an active promotion of your product group at global trade fairs, conferences and scientific journals

You collaborate closely with the business development and sales teams to present your product group and key innovations at global customers

You conduct regular market assessments and surveys with the market intelligence team to ensure we did not miss out on any trend or opportunity

You monitor the financial performance of your product group, ensure an active product life cycle management and propose countermeasures to keep profitability
Your Profile

Master's degree in chemistry, pharmacy, medical technology (ideally PhD) combined with core skills in business administration (ideally MBA)

More than 6 years of professional experience in product management, strategic marketing, business development or project management and min. 3 years as Product Manager or BDM in a technical B-to-B environment in an international company

Experience in pharma packaging, biotech or medical device industry is a plus

Strong strategic, analytical, technical and presentation skills with the ability and drive to work across multiple teams and regions

Very good practical knowledge in MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint), SAP experience is a plus

Very good command of German and English is mandatory, an additional language is a plus
