Our Renewables Team in Germany is looking for you!

  • Manage, prepareation and execution of acquisitions of early-stage development projects and disposals of 0.5-1 GW plus p.a. of renewables projects or portfolios
  • Screen and evaluate new investment opportunities in Uniper Renewables core markets (Germany, UK, France, Poland, Hungary, Italy, Nordics countries)
  • Utilize and analyze financial models and run sensitivities along the M&A process
  • Carry out commercial due diligence independently and coordinate the entire due diligence and investment process with internal and external partners and advisors.
  • Manage internal project team as well as external advisors to resolve project issues and risks and ensure project success
  • Negotiate transaction structure, commercial terms and documentation (SPA, SHA, DSA among others) with counterparties together with relevant stakeholders to achieve the best possible outcome for Uniper
  • Management of joint ventures, partnership structures and acquired companies
  • Optimal cooperation within the Renewables team, consisting of developers, engineers, offtake managers, market and strategy analysts as well as a network of external partners

  • University degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics or comparable studies
  • Several years of experience in project development, investment management, M&A consulting, corporate finance or with an IPP or Utility company
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills as well as experience in leading project teams
  • Excellent analytical and conceptual abilities, proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel, PPT and Word)
  • Understanding of main economic drivers of utility scale solar-PV and wind assets
  • Creative and open-minded individual with a good sense of humor
  • Enthusiasm for renewable energy, investments, financial modeling and project financing
  • Proven track record of international work experience (ideally) and appreciation of cultural differences
  • High mobility/willingness to travel internationally
  • Business fluency in German, English, additional languages are a plus
