Group Compliance works closely with the individual business units to ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules, regulations and professional market standards applicable to the various units of Deutsche Börse Group (DBG) and their business activities. Within Group Compliance, the Compliance Service Management team acts as a coordinating oversight function. As such, the Compliance Service Management team is responsible for the management of outsourcing contracts for compliance services provided by Group Compliance as central group function to various group entities and the assessment of the compliance risks in the context of onboarding of external suppliers and service providers.

Your responsibilities:
As a Compliance Officer, you will
  • Act as a central point of contact for various (regulated and unregulated) group entities and compliance experts regarding compliance topics, fostering good collaboration and communication
  • Provide dedicated support in all aspects of outsourcing contract management, from initiation to updates, optimising efficiency and mitigating risks
  • Represent Group Compliance in regular meetings with DBG entities, facilitating the exchange of compliance-related information and ensuring proper documentation
  • Assess compliance risks during the onboarding process of external suppliers and service providers
  • Support the assessment and identification of potential improvements to existing compliance processes, proactively coordinating with stakeholders within Group Compliance and the wider organisation
  • Support compliance projects and initiatives

  • University degree in compliance, law, business administration or economics
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience in the financial industry (preferably in the compliance or related function), a regulatory authority, a consulting firm, a law firm, or an accounting firm
  • Good knowledge of outsourcing-related requirements and relevant regulatory laws and requirements for financial sector companies
  • Strong writing, conceptual and methodological skills and the ability to communicate positions in a clear and structured manner
  • Ability to work in a team and in a matrix organisation within a multicultural and multi-location, international environment with high level of initiative, commitment, and motivation
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English and a good knowledge of German is required
  • Dedication and flexibility as well as competent handling of MS Office applications
