Sales Manager (m/f/d)

As a Sales Manager (m/f/d) at omoqo GmbH you represent the company and are the primary point of contact for our customers. You will drive efforts to introduce and grow a disruptive product in the market, shaping and executing sales strategies. You will develop a strong customer pipeline, converting leads into deals, while collecting feedback to improve go-to-market approaches. This role involves working closely with various teams in a fast-paced setting. Additionally, you will build and manage a sales team, balancing office duties with travel.

  • You will collaborate closely across functions in a dynamic start-up environment, helping to develop, implement, and drive effective sales strategies.
  • You will have a high level of autonomy to build, grow, and scale a solid prospective customer and opportunity pipeline, proactively driving leads to closed deals..
  • You will have the chance to drive customer product interactions, giving first-hand experience in how our product solves their pain points.
  • You will have a varied job, balancing office responsibilities with travel, while gathering customer and market feedback to share internally to refine our go-to-market strategy.
  • You have the opportunity to shape the direction of our further expansion by building, scaling, and leading an effective sales team.

  • You are a B2B sales pro with expertise in product-led sales and having experience in the maritime industry is a plus.
  • You are ideally familiar with selling Terminal Operating Systems (TOS) to cargo terminals.
  • You bring 3-5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably from a start-up, IT consultancy, or TOS provider with SaaS experience being a bonus.
  • You have a proven track record of full-cycle closing of mid to large-ticket sales with purchasing teams.
  • You excel at understanding and addressing customer pain points by presenting compelling use cases.
  • You are highly proficient in English, and fluency in a second language (preferably German, Spanish, or Portuguese) is a plus.
