About the role
As a Working Student you will play a key role in migrating design files for our B2B application suite from Adobe Xd to Figma. This position offers a fantastic chance to contribute to the creation of a cutting-edge Design Pattern Library while gaining valuable experience in a dynamic and collaborative environment. This position is limited to 3 months, with the possibility of extension.
Responsibilities
- Migrate design files from Adobe Xd to Figma in two steps:
- Creation of a Design Pattern Library
Based on an existing Design Pattern Library in Adobe Xd, a new library must be rebuilt from scratch in Figma by efficiently and intelligently adapting concepts like components and their variants. - Re-create screen designs
Based on existing screen designs in Adobe Xd and the already implemented end product, the screen designs need to be migrated from Adobe Xd and re-created in Figma by making use of the newly created Design Pattern Library.
- Creation of a Design Pattern Library
- Currently enrolled in a university program related to graphic design, web design, communication design, or a similar field, with at least 6 months remaining in your studies.
- Must have: Experience in Figma, especially in the usage of components, libraries, variants and further concepts.
- Familiarity with Adobe Xd and a basic understanding of its functionalities.
- Experience in setting up a Design Pattern Library or a Design System.
- Strong understanding of design principles and industry standards.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, structured working method and attention to detail.
