At MAN Truck & Bus we're seeking a highly skilled Data & Analytics Enterprise Architect to contribute to our Data Architecture journey to drive performance and scalability. Joining our team will provide you with exciting opportunities to work on Data Architecture projects and collaborate with global partners and our international development teams. Your tasks
Architecture Strategy & Design and Development

Develop and refine long-term data architecture strategy aligned with business objectives

Design robust and scalable data architectures to support current and future needs

Lead the development of data architecture frameworks and standards

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of architecture with business goals
Use Case Empowerment & Business Alignment

Identify and prioritize key business use cases for data architecture

Engage with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and ensure alignment

Empower business units with data-driven insights through effective architecture solutions

Translate business needs into technical requirements and architecture designs

Navigate a complex business landscape with excellent communication skills
Technology Evaluation

Research and evaluate emerging technologies and tools relevant to data architecture

Assess existing systems and technologies for optimization and modernization opportunities

Make recommendations for technology selection based on business needs and architecture requirements

Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data architecture and technology
Data Modeling & Integration

Develop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models

Ensure seamless integration of data across systems and platforms

Define data standards and governance practices for effective data management

Collaborate with data engineers and developers to implement data models and integration solutions
Your qualification
-
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
-
Proven experience (5+ years) in data architecture, data modeling, and data integration within enterprise environments

Strong understanding of architectural principles and frameworks (, TOGAF, Zachman) with practical application in designing scalable data solutions

Proficiency in database technologies (, SQL, NoSQL) and data warehousing concepts
-
Experience with cloud platforms and services (, AWS, Azure, GCP) and their data-related offerings

Demonstrated ability to lead architecture strategy discussions and drive consensus among diverse stakeholders

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences

Experience in evaluating and selecting appropriate technologies and tools to meet business needs
-
Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on performance optimization and scalability
-
Familiarity with data governance principles and practices, including data quality management and metadata management
-
Fluent German & English is a prerequisite
