Take the technical ownership for a new order entry system component
-
Explore, analyze and translate user & business requirements into technical requirements to develop a global solution that delivers a great UX for our opticians in each market
-
Define the system flows (frontend and backend) based on the user flows
-
Derive and define technical requirements in epics, features & user stories (especially on IT related tasks)

Prioritize the product & sprint backlog together with the Business Product Owner

Closely collaborate with the business product owner, designers, software developers and stakeholders from the different country sales organizations

Ensure the flow-of-work across the development team incl. software and test engineers
-
Lead, plan and manage the software product development activities

Ensure & contribute to a high quality of the software by defining an adequate testing strategy and framework and by conducting own manual tests

Manage upgrades, deployments and software releases and ensure their operation

Provide technical inputs to Marketing & Training Materials

Support the overall company data analysis initiatives

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
-
5 years or more of work experience within the area of software specification, development, architecture and operations
-
Technical Interest and excitement for Cloud Solutions, Webservices and E-Commerce

Ability to design data models, system architectures, and system logics + flows

Experience in cloud (azure) and microservice architectures, identity and access management, IT Security standards, MACH Principles, Container Technology, Data Storages and Tracking

Great communication skills, especially the ability to translate complex and technical topics into the language of key stakeholders

Knowledge and experience in software development & release management, agile working methods and collaboration tools (Azure DevOps)

Customer-centric mindset combined with technical skills (background as developer is beneficial)

Strong self-motivation for creating impact, delivering results and personal growth

Fluent language skills in English; German is desirable

Open to business trips if required & appropriate
