In the Coatings Division, we are focused on the development, production and marketing of a variety of coating solutions - from applied surface technologies to automotive paints. The Subregion Controller DACH+ (incl. Germany, Austria and Switzerland) acts as a trusted business partner for stakeholders in the DACH+ region. As Subregion Controller for the DACH+ subregion, you are part of the management team, lead 4-5 controllers and serve as a trusted business partner for the Regional Business Manager and the Country Mangers.

  • In your new role, you report to the Global (and EMEA region) Head of Controlling as well as administratively to the Regional Business Manager in the subregion DACH+, which includes Germany, Austria and Switzerland, and will be part of his management team.
  • You are responsible for analyzing the business development, implementing the strategy for the operational controlling processes and coordinating finance and controlling related projects.
  • Furthermore, you are the team leader of the DACH+ Controlling team including 5 employees and are responsible for the controlling activities on a sub-regional level.
  • Promoting an open dialog with all stakeholders in the subregion is also part of your tasks. This involves guidance, questioning and consulting to demonstrate the financial impact of their behavior and to promote cooperation and collective responsibility in line with the future cultural change in the EU.
  • In addition, you are responsible for business controlling, including reporting, planning and forecasting, strategy as well as profitability analysis, risk reporting and compliance issues.
  • Last but not least, you lead and support the controlling team members in the individual countries in monitoring key KPIs, consolidating monthly performance and annual forecasts along with managing the operational planning process.

  • master's degree in finance, accounting or a comparable course of study
  • several years of professional experience in planning and controlling or finance and accounting
  • excellent communication and presentation skills in fluent German and English, customer orientation and "out of the box thinking"
  • a good and proactive team player, strong in analytical thinking and problem solving
  • experience in SAP as well as Power BI and data management is an advantage
