Business Architect (m/f/x) ERP Procurement & Inventory Solutions

The position:
Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for optimizing procurement and inventory management processes? We are seeking a talented Business Architect (m/f/x) for ERP Procurement & Inventory Solutions to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will design, implement, and maintain cutting-edge ERP solutions that drive efficiency and effectiveness across our procurement and inventory operations. With your deep expertise in business processes, SAP systems, and data governance, you will be instrumental in transforming our operations and ensuring seamless functionality.


  • Collaborate with regional and global stakeholders to translate business requirements into SAP solutions either at regional or global level
  • Implement and maintain SAP modules for procurement and inventory management, ensuring seamless integration
  • Design and configure SAP modules to meet business needs, ensuring scalability and alignment with best practices
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operations
  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for SAP modules, engaging with external support as needed
  • Develop functional design specifications and coordinate change or project management activities
  • Execute SAP customization, ensuring compliance with regulations
  • Deliver 2nd level support (incident and problem management) and manage service requests, performing periodic monitoring of applications and interfaces
  • Actively participate in service request management processes within your area of responsibility

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum 5-8 years' proven experience in SAP service management or a similar role, preferably within a multinational environment with a strong customer and service-oriented focus
  • Proven experience in managing internal and external suppliers
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP applications, modules, and integration processes, with hands-on experience in SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and other relevant platforms
  • Good knowledge of GxP and SOX requirements, as well as CSV principles
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated experience in driving process improvements and delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Relevant certifications in ITL or equivalent experience in an ITIL environment
  • Strong communication, presentation and collaboration skills as well as the ability to manage conflicts
  • Advanced proficiency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory; proficiency in German or another European language is a plus
