We're on the lookout for a dynamic and driven Senior Engineer* Technology Development to join our team at our headquarters in Mainz, Germany. Your mission: drive technology initiatives in our production sites and add significant value to our organization.
Your Contribution
- Implement new and optimize existing technologies in glass processing (e.g. laser processing, digital printing)
- Successfully plan and lead interdisciplinary technology development projects within Flat Glass
- Ensure the transfer of new technologies to the production sites
- Participate in product development projects, focusing on production technologies, prototype production and transfer into serial production
- Ensure proper definition, purchasing, construction and installation of new machines
Your Profile
- University degree in mechanical, electrical or industrial engineering
- At least 5 years experience in technology and process development, ideally in the glass processing
- Practical experience in (agile) project management skills
- Good Lean Management and CAD knowledge
- Strong conceptual and analytical abilities, high customer centricity, and excellent communication skills
- Fluency in English and proficiency in German
- Willingness to travel internationally up to 50%
