The Business Unit Adsorbents & Additives is a major supplier of flame retardants, high-performance additives and waxes with functional effects for plastics, coatings, printing inks and other consumer applications.

We are looking for a full-time Team Lead Operational Planning (m/f/d) for our Gersthofen or Frankfurt/Main site at the earliest possible date.


  • Execute and ensure the supply chain strategy for planning the execution horizon in compliance with the S&OE process
  • Lead the hiring, training and monitoring, as well as the mentoring and performance evaluation of procurement planners and call-off functions
  • Focus on the supply chain process to promote customer service
  • Identify potential projects to standardize and implement best practices for procurement planning processes, people and tools
  • Ensure continuous improvement projects are successfully implemented across the procurement planning organization
  • Encourage the team to independently identify root causes of disruptions to improve customer service
  • Ensure that the execution planning team supports the agreed service levels of stakeholders across the supply chain

  • Degree in supply chain management or 5+ years of experience in a global business environment in a supply chain role
  • 3+ years in a leadership position
  • Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
  • Business fluent in German and English (written and verbal)
  • Good system knowledge of SAP APO (SNP, PPDS)
  • Experience in building system capabilities, measuring performance and developing planning organizations
  • Ability to drive cross-functional change management
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
  • Willing to travel approx. 10–20 %
