As a Product Owner in the area of Data & Analytics, you will lead and manage the development and execution of a product vision that aligns with the company's strategic goals and customer needs. You will be the key link between the business, customers, and the product team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality IT products that provide value to both customers and the business. This role requires end-to-end management of products and related services throughout their lifecycle, including responsibility for cost management, budgeting, SLA adherence, and overall service performance. You will collaborate closely with technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure that the Data & Analytics platform continues to evolve and meets the organization's objectives
Explore your tasks and responsibilities
- Take full accountability for maintaining and operating all product-related business and IT services, including availability and capacity management.
- Develop and manage product roadmaps in alignment with business objectives and IT strategies.
- Work with stakeholders across the organization to understand their needs and translate them into service requirements. Act as a key stakeholder, keeping a deep understanding of market and industry trends.
- Collaborate with the product team to ensure they understand the product vision and are designing features that meet business and partner needs.
- Identify potential risks and proactively mitigate them while continually seeking ways to improve processes and efficiency in product development.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role in product management, with experience in Agile methodologies/frameworks.
- Strong understanding of the product lifecycle and experience with tools such as SAP SAC/BI, Microsoft Azure, Power BI, and other reporting tools.
- Proven experience leading and managing software development teams, with the ability to mentor team members and enforce best practices. Proficient in both German and English.
- Excellent organizational skills, time management, and the ability to solve complex problems with creative solutions.
