Working Student (m/f/d) in the field of Electronics Surface Treatment and Metallization - limited until 30.04.2025

MSD, a manufacturer of specialty chemicals, equipment and software used in the printed circuit board, semiconductor and connector industries offers an interesting working student (m/f/d) position. You will be partner with the package substrate team to support the development of new products and process-es and internal and external customer sample work handling.
Your responsibility
- Support of preparing the technical lines for sample plating including the makeup, maintenance and monitoring of chemical analysis
- Preparation of test coupons
- Sample evaluation by wet-chemical and physical methods
- Documentation and presentation of results
- Supporting the team in process trouble shooting
- You are enrolled in your bachelor's or master's degree in chemistry or chemical engineering
- Technical understanding and experimental skills (in the laboratory)
- Basic laboratory skills including gravimetry and titrimetric
- Fundamental organic chemistry skills
- Very good knowledge of written and spoken English
- Professional and situation-appropriate demeanour, structured and careful way of working
- Communication skills, ability to work in a team, flexibility
- You are available around 15-20 hours/week
Preferred Skills
- Experience in UV/Vis spectroscopy and electro chemistry
- German language is a plus
