As a Senior Expert in Internal Audit with a focus on Data Analytics, you will be instrumental in shaping our approach to auditing through advanced data analytics tools. Your work will ensure that we maintain the highest standards of efficiency and effectiveness.
Explore your tasks and responsibilities
- Design, create, and manage databases, dashboards, and analytics tools using SQL, Python, R, and relevant data visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI.
- Lead and conduct complex audits, applying advanced methodologies and analytics to assess controls, identify risks, and evaluate process efficiency.
- Prepare and present detailed audit reports, translating complex data findings into clear, actionable insights for senior management.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements across business areas, leveraging data analytics to streamline operations.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in data analytics, mentoring and guiding other auditors within the team.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in internal audit, with a strong focus on data analytics, databases, and creating analytical tools.
- Proficiency in programming languages (SQL, Python, R) and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI), along with experience in statistical analysis and machine learning.
- Expertise in audit methodologies, risk assessment frameworks, and regulatory compliance, with a data-driven approach.
- Exceptional analytical and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to navigate complex business processes and identify nuanced risks through data.
- Strong communication skills, capable of articulating complex data concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
