Our Commercial Technology team in Düsseldorf is looking for you!

  • Support Business growth with technology development around Renewables PPA and Green certificates and other commercial initiatives impacting PnL for the PPA and Green Desk

  • Support the evolution of the PPA IT landscape to be able to support Unipers new green and flexible power strategy. This includes the front to end Trade and Operational lifecycle across various Uniper supporting functions including Risk, Back office and IT

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with commercial trading partners and IT delivery teams to ensure alignment of IT projects with business objectives

  • Act as primary point of contact for the Trading desks and Uniper's IT departments in all matters related to technology

  • Close relationship with central program management team

  • Development of Change roadmap including Business prioritization

  • Steering both IT delivery and cross functional delivery teams

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of a portfolio of IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget

  • Manage a multi-year transformation Program, including multi-million EUR budget, ensuring efficient delivery and tracking of resources

  • Make trade-off decisions to balance product quality, cost, and delivery timelines

  • Manage Business demand and identify synergies in delivery approaches across UK and Continental teams for a cohesive approach

  • Lead cross-functional teams across diverse geographical locations, fostering a collaborative environment

  • Implement best practices in project management and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Implement quality standards for business requirements, processes, to-be designs, and Business Functional test management

  • Provide regular updates to senior management on project status, risks, and mitigation strategies

  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field

  • Minium 5-10 years proven experience in program management within the energy sector

  • Comprehensive understanding of the PPA markets, including their end-to-end processes and the necessary IT infrastructure to facilitate scalability and diversification in both PPA and Certificates products

  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing large budgets

  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate multi locational teams

  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills with a focus on Senior to Board of Management

  • Proficient in project management software and tools

  • PMP, Prince2, or equivalent certification is highly desirable
