As soon as possible we are looking for a

“Regional Sourcing Manager IT Hardware Solutions” (m/f/x)

What you can expect from us:

  • IT sourcing initiatives with a focus on IT hardware solutions; additionally flexible deployment in strategic sourcing initiatives of further categories.
  • Stakeholder management in a trustful and respectful manner with CIO areas of the divisions and their IT key accounts.
  • Active and close cooperation with internal IT service providers and divisional vendor management teams in a trustful and respectful manner.
  • Active supplier management and development in the highly complex vendor and business environment, in particular establishing, developing and managing resilient business relationships with external strategic suppliers of DHL Group
  • Preparation and input of strategic IT contract content, decision recommendations and business cases for Corporate IT Board
  • Implementation of sourcing processes with strategic importance for the Group, both regionally and nationally
  • Implementation and support of projects with direct relevance to the Corporate Board and IT Board
  • Successful and sustainable realization of savings that contribute to the corporate success of the divisions
  • Implementation of global and regional framework agreements under time-critical conditions
  • Independent development, coordination and implementation of regional purchasing strategies
  • Implementing and ensuring adherence to purchasing and compliance guidelines
  • Responsibility for regional data management and category-specific reporting
  • Preparation of market analyses
  • Developing potential for sourcing initiatives combined with savings potential and value-added measures for the divisions, in particular recognising internal company requirements with the aim of achieving the best possible conditions for the IT hardware category or developing open source alternatives in the hardware area
  • Coordinating and consolidating the needs of different divisions, countries and regions, in particular with regard to common requirements and specifications
  • Special strategic tasks and management of cross-divisional / cross-category projects

What we expect from you:

  • Completed university or university of applied sciences degree, preferably in the field of economics or computer science and many years of relevant professional experience in sourcing (preferably in the IT sector)
  • Excellent understanding of procurement processes in the relevant market environment as well as good knowledge of cost structures and standard market prices
  • Many years of experience in successfully building and managing relationships with divisional stakeholders
  • Extensive experience in strategic supplier management, ideally experience in managing IT hardware contracts
  • Strong technical and market knowledge
  • Very strong negotiation skills
  • Very good communication skills
  • Very good written and spoken German and English (level C2)
  • Confident handling of standard MS Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), MS Project
  • Confident handling of the purchasing systems GoSource, GoSave, GoAnalyse and GeT
  • The fulfilment of tasks requires very strong social skills
  • Ability to work in a team, both reliable and responsive, taking into account the CLP attributes and the leadership attributes
  • Ability to deal with conflict and assertiveness
