We are seeking a highly ambitious and skilled Senior Implementation Manager (m/f/d) for our Global Customer Implementation Air & Sea (CI) department. This person plays a critical role in setting large, complex customers up for success as they begin their partnership with Hellmann Worldwide Logistics. You will be responsible for the end-to-end implementation of customers, working closely with our Sales and Product teams from Airfreight and Seafreight to build long-lasting relationships. You go beyond pure project management, as you will listen to customer requirements and bring them alive while defining technical integrations, writing customer SOPs and Working Instructions as well setting up our operations for sustainable success. On top of running own implementation projects, this role has the chance to constantly enhance and train our CI project methodology throughout our CI community globally.

» Your Responsibilities:

  • Execution and management of customer implementation projects in the Air&Sea division
  • Coordination of projects with customers and global Hellmann network
  • Analysis and creation of customer processes, IT requirements and documentation
  • Creation of customer-specific operating procedures and work instructions (SOP & WI)
  • Conducting training for the operational units based on the documentation created
  • Develop KPIs and the respective monitoring tools with your colleagues to ensure a successful implementation, successful means all customer requirements can be met by Hellmann
  • Post Implementation, closely monitor the achievement of agreed KPI's and actively seek feedback as to areas for improvement

» Your profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years in a similar role, with a track record of successful customer implementation projects, operational training as well as continuous improvement activities within freight forwarding
  • Strong understanding of 3PL and 4PL operations, particularly in Airfreight and Seafreight
  • Technical proficiency in mapping and documenting customer requirements to IT/EDI as well as analytical skills to monitor and track various system related KPIs
  • Excellent training and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus
